About this role:
We're on the lookout for a designer with a passion for a cause, a researcher's mindset, and hands-on experience bringing digital products to life. As part of the Abridge crew, you'll join a dynamic team of engineers, researchers, and creatives to:
- Dive deep into the needs of doctors, patients, and other healthcare users,
- Dream up innovative ways to engage with user- and AI-generated content,
- Craft mobile and web experiences that break free from the dull norms of modern healthcare tech.
Your day-to-day:
Support our all-remote product delivery team by swiftly conducting research studies with Abridge’s diverse pilot users. Get our clinician products ready for sign-up, creating onboarding experiences that charm new users and keep them hooked. Blend your research insights with analytics, identifying trends and rapidly refining ideas. Produce a spectrum of design artifacts (think user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UIs) to communicate the purpose and functionality of new product features. Ensure our products play nice with accessibility standards (like WCAG 2.2). Contribute your design prowess to Abridge’s growing design system and component libraries.
What you bring:
- Over 5 years of crafting and shipping digital products (web & mobile),
- A degree in design or equivalent experience,
- Comfort with design tools (e.g., Figma) and a love for post-its and whiteboard markers,
- Fearless in the face of ambiguity, thriving in fast-paced environments,
- A passion for design that goes beyond the UI,
- Experience with UX research methodologies and tools,
- Empathy and top-notch communication skills,
- A burning passion for the healthcare space,
- Bonus points if you’ve danced with designing for generative AI content.
Compensation:
$120,000 - $160,000 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on location, experience, skills, qualifications, and other factors.
